Defining Shift Periods

Define shift periods that a user may want to assign in personnel profiles. These can also be used as an advanced search criteria in daily log, incident, and dispatch grids, as well as in reports' custom filtering. For example, a user may want to search for all dispatch records that occurred during a particular shift.

1.   Click Administration on the Shortcuts bar to display the Administration form.

2.   On the Shift Definitions tab, click New.

3.   Enter a Name for the shift, select the Property and Department, and enter the Start and End times for the shift.

4.   Click Save & Close.
