Overdue Alert Grace Period (min) |
The time, in minutes, that Visitor Management will wait after the scheduled visit start time (if the visitor has not been signed in) before it issues an alert that the visit is overdue. |
Enable Complex Mode |
Toggles the system between simple and complex mode. In simple mode, "open," closed" and "cancelled" are available as statuses for visits, and there is no approval workflow prior to sign in. In complex mode, "pending," "accepted" and "rejected" statuses are added, forcing approval workflow prior to signing in. |
Print Badge When Sign In |
By default, visitor badges will be printed automatically when visitors sign in. |
Signature Required |
Forces capture of a signature through the signature pen interface as a mandatory requirement for visitors prior to or as they are signing in. |
ID Required |
Forces entry of an ID type and number prior to or as visitors are signing in. |
Use Badge ID As Default Scanning Field |
When a barcode scanner is used, by default the Visitor ID field is used to search for the barcode. If you select this option, the Badge ID field is searched for the barcode instead. |
Notify Host When Visitor Signs In |
A notification will be sent by Visitor Management when a visitor signs in, using the appropriate Email Notification template. |
Notify Host When Visitor is Overdue |
A notification will be sent by Visitor Management if a visitor does not sign in by the expected arrival time, using the appropriate Email Notification template. |
Notify Host When Visit is Accepted/Rejected |
A notification will be sent by Visitor Management when the visit record is accepted or rejected, using the appropriate Email Notification template. |
Notify Visitor When Visit is Confirmed |
A notification will be sent by Visitor Management when the visit record is accepted, using the appropriate Email Notification template. |
Disable Free Text in Dropdowns |
If a user has appropriate permission, they can add values to dropdown lists; select this check box to disable this functionality in the Visitor Management forms. |
Show Alert When Visitor Signs Out |
An alert will appear when a visitor signs out. |
Host Selection Groups |
Select the profiles that can be selected as the host of a visit. This also controls which type(s) of profiles can be created from the Search Host form. |
New Visitors are created as |
Select whether new visitors are created as contacts or subjects. |
Send Confirmation Email |
Indicate when a confirmation email is sent. |
Email Notification Templates |
The text that will be used in email notifications to hosts, and confirmation email notifications to visitors. Use <VISITORNAME> as a placeholder for the visitor's name, and <VISITNUMBER> as a placeholder for the visit record. |

Use Web Registration |
Allows users to register and create their own accounts in the system. |
Role |
The role assigned to any users who register via the web. If any group other than the "Web Only User" group is assigned, it will use a CAL every time a user logs in through the web. |
Base URL |
The base URL for iTrak (default is http://[iTrakServerName]/iViewAPI). Click Check to verify that the URL is active. |
Allowable Domains |
Users must register with an email from a domain in this list. |
