Defining User Settings

User settings apply to your user login only; choose Tools ยป User Settings.

Auto Create Daily Log

If selected, each time you create a new daily log and mark it as Done, a new daily log entry window will open. This is useful for users who generate a lot of daily logs.

Use Metric

Sets the units to either metric (clear to use imperial).

Show Scanner Settings

Enables access to view and change scanner settings from the Today's Visitors toolbar in the Visitor Management module.

Dispatch Refresh Interval

The period of time, in minutes, between iDispatch system refreshes. Turned off by default.

Spell Check Dictionary

The language to be used for spell checking.

Display Language

The language to be used for the iTrak interface (menus, form names, field labels, etc.). Only the languages enabled in the Global Settings are available.

The Culture Preferences determine the date, time, and currency formats used in iTrak. These preferences are associated with a particular language and locale ("culture"), allowing, for example, users who work in UK English to use different formats than those who work in US English. These formats are defined for each culture in the Global Settings. When you select the Culture in your User Settings you can override the default Date and Time if you wish but not the currency formats.
