About Patron Management

The Patron Management module allows users to scan visitors' identification at point of entry. Patron Management searches the iTrak subject database for potential matches, and the kiosk operator can decide whether to admit or refuse entry. If the visitor was refused entry (e.g. if they were drunk & disorderly, or matched to a banned subject), an alert will be sent to iTrak.

There are two parts to the Patron Management module:

§      The Patron Management Terminal, where security staff scan a visitor's identification and decide if the person is to be admitted or not. See Getting Started.

§      The iTrak Patron Management module, where management and back-office security personnel can review entries captured at the Patron Management Terminal (see Viewing Patron Management Activity).
