About the Work Order Module

The Work Order module allows you to enter, track and maintain a complete list of work orders by part. In conjunction with work orders, the iTrak system also allows you to track individual parts and which work orders they are used in.

For information about manipulating the records in the grid, see Sorting and Grouping Records, Filtering Records, Searching for Records, or Using the iTrak Grid Functions as appropriate.

The number of entries (records) for the iTrak reporting area is shown in the bottom left.

To view details on a specific found item, select the found item you want to view, then click Open to display the item or simply double-click on the desired item.

Colour-coding:

The colours for work order records are not strictly related to record Status; they also factor in the Scheduled Date and Priority fields, as follows:

White

Default state, record does not match any of the criteria below

Yellow

Follow-up Required (based on Status)

Orange

Overdue (based on Scheduled Date)

Red

Urgent (based on Priority)

Green

Closed (based on Status)

Where multiple of these factors exist, the colours override as follows:

Green>Red>Orange>Yellow>White

For example, if a record is in Follow-Up Required status but is also marked as Urgent, it will be shown in red. When a record status is Closed, it will be shown in green regardless of the other fields.
